Official vs. Unofficial Transcripts
An official transcript is sealed and sent directly to colleges, employers, or other organizations as verification of a student's academic record. Current students can request official transcripts for free; alumni must pay a fee. Official transcripts are requested through Parchment and are typically used for college applications, scholarships, or employment verification.
An unofficial transcript is not sealed and can be accessed instantly through Infinite Campus. It can also be requested for free through Parchment and is typically used for personal reference, insurance, or scholarships that don't require an official transcript.
Final Transcripts for Seniors
Seniors heading to college must send their final transcript after spring grades are posted in early June. Parchment lets you hold your transcript for grades, so it will be sent automatically once Semester 2 grades are posted — no need to request it again.
How to Request a Transcript
Official high school transcripts are requested through Parchment, PACT's secure e-transcript service that sends records directly to colleges, employers, and scholarship programs — an efficient, secure, and user-friendly way to request academic records.
- Create an account or log in to Parchment using a personal email address. Enter your name and birthdate carefully — a misspelling or wrong date can cause your request to go unfulfilled.
- Follow Parchment's step-by-step instructions to place your request.
- Confirm your order and accept the user agreement.
- Track delivery through email notifications.
College Credit: CIS, PSEO, AP & CLEP
If you have earned credit through any of the following programs, here's where that credit shows up — and where to go if you need more than what appears on the PACT transcript:
- CIS (College in the Schools) and PSEO (Postsecondary Enrollment Options) — Courses taken through CIS or PSEO appear on your PACT high school transcript. However, if a college requires official college credit documentation, that transcript must be requested directly from the college where the course was taken (see links below).
- AP (Advanced Placement) — AP Exam scores must be requested directly from College Board. Send AP scores →
