Recruiter Visits
WHO’S VISITING PACT
Recruiter Visits
PACT welcomes college, employer, and military recruiters to campus throughout the school year.

Recruiter Visit Calendar
Most visits occur during lunch, when students can stop by to ask questions without pressure or commitment. Occasionally, a recruiter will speak in more depth during Panther Plus about a specific college, career, or path. Check the calendar below for upcoming visits, or reach out to your School Counselor with questions.
College Recruiters
Throughout the year, college and university representatives visit PACT, offering students a relaxed way to start exploring the various options available—there's no need at this stage to submit an application, write an essay, or make any major life decision. Sometimes a five-minute chat at a lunch table is all that's needed to decide whether a particular school is worth investigating further, or to ask a question you wouldn't normally think to look up on a website.
Getting the most out of a visit:
- Bring a question, perhaps a simple one such as "What is your campus known for?" or "What do most students major in?" and that will be an excellent way to start a conversation.
- Request someone's contact details or find out how you can stay in touch so you can follow up later with more specific questions.
- You shouldn't wait until you have a serious interest in a particular school, as some of the greatest discoveries are made during visits to schools that you weren't even considering previously.
If you're uncertain about which schools to aim for or would like some assistance in turning these discussions into an actual college search, your school counselor can help you put together a plan.
Employer & Job Recruiters
Occasionally, employers come to PACT during the year to speak to the students about real jobs and internships and to give them a clear idea of what a career in their field is really like from day to day. This gives students the opportunity to get direct information from people who are actually doing the work, rather than just reading a job description online, and allows them to begin making connections before they even start filling out an application.
Getting the most out of a visit:
- If you ask about a typical day, job titles usually don't tell the whole story.
- Find the skills and experience that they are looking for, even in the case of entry-level positions.
- A real connection can lead to a recommendation, an internship opportunity, or even your first job. Just take someone's business card or contact details.
Whether you're thinking about a career path, a summer job, or just want to explore your options, your School Counselor can help you think it through.
Military Recruiters
PACT proudly partners with area military recruiters to help students learn about career opportunities in every branch of the armed forces. Recruiters periodically visit campus for lunchroom information sessions, where students can ask questions and pick up materials on their own time — no pressure, no sign-up required.
Students interested in enlisting or learning more can connect with a recruiter directly, or reach out to their School Counselor for guidance and support along the way.
