The National Honor Society (NHS) is more than an honor—it’s a chance to grow as a leader, serve others, and prepare for your future. NHS recognizes students who excel in scholarship, service, leadership, and character—the core traits that build success in school and life. As a member, you’ll take part in service projects, leadership opportunities, and community involvement that make a lasting impact. Colleges and employers value NHS because it reflects commitment, responsibility, and integrity, giving you an edge in applications and scholarships. Chick-fil-A Leader Academy
PACT Charter School is proud to partner with the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy™, a prestigious national high school leadership program that empowers students to make an Impact Through Action.
Through a year-long curriculum, students develop timeless leadership skills, including teamwork, communication, and innovation. Each month, students participate in Leader Labs—interactive sessions filled with games, activities, discussions, and challenges that equip them with the tools needed to become effective leaders.
The program culminates with an Impact Project, where students put their leadership into action by planning and executing a service project that benefits the local community. Students don’t just learn about leadership in the classroom—they live it out by serving others and making a difference.
DECA at PACT
Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) is a national organization that empowers high school students to become leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
In Minnesota, DECA includes more than 2,000 members across 50+ chapters. PACT is proud to join this network, providing our students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, enhance career readiness, and gain hands-on experience.
DECA prepares students to be:
-
Academically Prepared – Ambitious learners ready to achieve future goals.
-
Community-Oriented – Leaders who serve and make a positive impact.
-
Professionally Responsible – Ethical, poised, and committed to high standards.
-
Experienced Leaders – Confident problem-solvers who set goals and lead teams.
Through local, state, and national events, PACT students will compete, connect, and grow in ways that prepare them for success in college, careers, and beyond.
National Honor Society
National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is more than an award—it’s an opportunity to grow as a leader, serve your community, and prepare for future success. NJHS recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, service, leadership, and character—the same core traits that lead to achievement in school and beyond. Members participate in meaningful service projects, leadership activities, and community initiatives that make a real impact. Being part of NJHS also connects you with motivated peers who share your commitment to learning and giving back. It’s not just about recognition—it’s about developing your skills, making a difference, and becoming your best self.
Secondary Student Council
Student Council consists of students who work together to plan school-wide events and offer volunteer opportunities. We aim to build community and school spirit by creating shared memories of your time at PACT. We do this through events like pep rallies and school dances, running the school store, and participating in Advisory competitions.
Beyond that, and most of all, the Student Council is an opportunity for ALL students to develop leadership. Just like our PACT character traits, leadership is a skill that must be developed on purpose. Student Council is the perfect place to learn how to be a leader, see leadership in action, and apply it in your own life!
WEB Crew
WEB Crew is a middle school transition program that welcomes 6th graders and helps them feel comfortable throughout their first year of middle school. Built on the belief that students can help other students succeed, WEB Crew leaders are students in grades 7 and 8 who are committed to helping their peers navigate middle school life and beyond through positive role modeling and mentorship. WEB Leaders lay the foundation during our grade 6 orientation and continue building the relationship throughout the year through small and large group activities, as well as monthly advisory sessions.
