February 2026

Dear PACT Secondary Families:

We hope this newsletter finds you well as we continue through the second semester. It's been an exciting start to 2026, and we're thrilled to share some exciting updates from our school community.

New 7th Graders!

Since January 16, we’ve welcomed 25 new seventh graders to campus. We used our WEB team to help with student orientation and to plan two informational sessions for parents. Our new students are settling in and had a smooth first week. Our teachers noted that our current seventh graders were more than happy to step in and help with the transition.  We so appreciate our current 7th graders and the leadership they’ve exhibited as they’ve welcomed new students onto our campus.

Homecoming

The 'Golden Hour' Homecoming dance kicked off a fun Spirit Week for students. The dances were well attended, and the students enjoyed themselves. Our Pepfest was a hit. Students heard from representatives from each of our activities about their current seasons and how to get involved. Our choir sang The National Anthem, and our Pep Band brought the school spirit. Advisories and teachers competed in "Head, Shoulders, Knees, Cup," which was a blast and mostly injury-free. Our teams competed well, and we had an incredible turnout.

PACT Girls Varsity Basketball Making History

We are incredibly proud of our Girls Varsity Basketball Team. For the first time in PACT history, our Girls Varsity basketball team played in the conference championship on February 7.  Our girls show heart on the court, and we commend them for their hard work.  Our team earned 2nd place, and we couldn’t be prouder. We also want to congratulate June Tessum and Ella Ling on hitting the milestone of scoring 1000 career points. We celebrate their accomplishment and are so thankful for their leadership.

2026-2027 Class Registration

It is almost time to register for classes for the 2026-2027 school year! Keep your eyes peeled for information, including our new class offerings and a new course catalog format.  We are excited to plan for the upcoming school year while finishing this year strong. Feel free to reach out to Mr. Bjork or Ms. Kaminski with any questions once registration is live in early March!

Warmly,

Dr. Shawn Lohse
