Join the Budget and Finance Committee

PACT is seeking a dedicated individual with a background in finance to join our Budget and Finance Committee (BFC). The BFC helps oversee the finances and financial policies of PACT Charter School to ensure high standards of professional accounting are maintained and that financial matters are communicated effectively. The committee also ensures the responsible use of school funds and compliance with the approved budget while providing relevant information and guidance to the PACT School Board. If interested, please contact Superintendent Dr. Flansburg (n.flansburg@pactcharter.org) or Board Chair Mr. Heineman (r.heineman@pactcharter.org).

Back-to-School Open House

August 21 | 4:30-7:30 p.m. | Elementary Campus
Enter Through the Gym Entrance (Door 3)
We look forward to seeing you at our Back-to-School Open House! You can meet teachers, tour the building, and drop off school supplies. Families can also discuss forms, fees, technology, and other topics with the staff. Students will also have their photos taken by Jostens for the yearbook and student ID.

To improve the flow of the evening, manage parking, eliminate long lines, and allow families to talk to teachers, please consider arriving at the open house as follows:
  • 4:30 p.m. - Last Name A through I
  • 5:30 p.m. - Last Name J through Q
  • 6:30 p.m. - Last Name R through Z

Note: There will be "No Parking" signs on the streets next to PACT because of local construction. We've been told by the City of Ramsey that families can park there after 4:30 p.m. when the construction workers leave for the day.

Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures

PACT Elementary aims to establish safe and orderly student drop-off procedures at the beginning and end of the day.

Beginning of the Day: Children will be welcomed to enter at Door 3, located at the west entrance near the flagpole. Safety Patrols and PACT staff will be present to ensure students enter the building safely. Drop-off times begin at 7:45 a.m. and continue until 8:15 a.m. Students arriving between 7:45 and 8:00 a.m. will be asked to wait in the cafeteria. At 8:00 a.m., students who have finished breakfast or do not need breakfast should proceed to their classrooms. The cafeteria remains open until 8:15 a.m. for students to finish their breakfast.

End of the Day: At the end of the day, students will be dismissed from Door 3, the same door used for morning drop-off, to keep the process consistent. Families are encouraged to use the carpool line and the Silent Dismissal™ system, which notifies teachers when a parent arrives and allows changes to dismissal plans until 1:30 p.m. through the app (after 1:30, changes must be made through the office). Parents who choose to park in the PACT lot or the Northgate Church lot must exit their vehicles and meet their children near the flagpole, as students are not permitted to cross or enter parking areas alone. Safety Patrols will be stationed near the church to help with safe street crossing.

Thank you for helping us keep all PACT kids safe at the start and end of their days. We appreciate your partnership!

Volunteer in the Library

The PACT Library is seeking volunteers each week to help ensure operations run smoothly. Volunteers are needed Monday through Thursday during one of three shifts: 8:15–10:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., or 1:00–3:00 p.m. Tasks include checking in and shelving books, making copies, helping students find books, checking out materials with students, and managing library resources. If you're unable to commit to a weekly schedule, you can still volunteer for a special project whenever it’s convenient for you.

To sign up, please email Mrs. Schaible at r.schaible@pactcharter.org with the day and time that works best for you, along with your student’s name and teacher.

Carpool and Morning Drop-Of

When dropping off your student in the morning, please use the carpool drop-off area on the east side of the building. The north side (Activities Entrance) is reserved for transportation vans. To ensure safety and smooth traffic flow for all students, thank you for using the designated carpool area.

After-School Pick-Up

There are two options for after-school pick-up:
  • Parents should first enter through the east entrance (closest to Veriolite Street) and proceed to the carpool lane.
  • Once that line is full, parents will be directed to use the west entrance (closest to Central Park). From there, vehicles will merge at the north end of the carpool lane.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our carpool process safe and efficient.
