Welcome to PACT Online Campus!

Where we inspire students to imagine what learning can be.

Launching in Fall 2026, PACT Online Campus invites students in grades 7, 8, and 9 to reimagine what school can be. This free program for Minnesota students combines PACT’s strong academics and character development with the flexibility of online learning, empowering students to succeed from anywhere.

Starting with middle school and early high school, we’re building momentum and a connected community designed to grow alongside our students. This thoughtful beginning sets the stage for expanding into a full online high school in the years ahead.

At PACT Online Campus, we’re not just rethinking education—we’re inviting students to imagine their future and boldly make it their own.

  • What curriculum will the PACT Online Campus use?

We are currently developing the PACT Online Campus curriculum to align fully with our core values—academic excellence, character development, and meaningful relationships. We are exploring a blend of custom-designed curriculum and high-quality, pre-developed resources to ensure our online program reflects PACT’s high standards. The final curriculum will be rigorous, engaging, and supportive of both academic and personal growth, just like our on-campus experience. More details will be shared as curriculum decisions are finalized.

What platform will be used for coursework?

We are evaluating digital platforms that offer built-in curriculum, structure, and flexibility for both students and teachers. Supplementary tools such as Google Classroom and Schoology may be used as needed. Grades and attendance will be managed through Infinite Campus, just like our traditional campus.

Does the PACT Online Campus follow Minnesota state academic standards?

Yes. All courses meet Minnesota K–12 Academic Standards to ensure students receive a rigorous, standards-aligned education.

    What assessments will students take?

Online students will participate in the same state and local assessments as on-campus students, including:

    • MCA (Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments)
    • FastBridge assessments
    • ACT (as appropriate for grade level)
  • Is character education part of the online experience?

Absolutely. At PACT, we believe that academic achievement and strong character go hand in hand. Our online students will participate in regular character education lessons that reflect the same values we teach on campus—such as respect, responsibility, integrity, and leadership.

These lessons are embedded into the curriculum and supported through virtual discussions, reflection activities, and real-life applications that help students grow as individuals and community members. Character development remains a cornerstone of the PACT experience, no matter the learning environment.

How is service learning incorporated into the online program?

Service learning is a vital part of our mission to develop engaged and compassionate citizens. Online students will complete age-appropriate service-learning projects that align with course content and character education themes. Many of these projects are flexible and designed to be completed in students' own communities, allowing them to make a meaningful impact locally.

Whether students are organizing a donation drive, participating in virtual volunteering, or completing a community-based research project, service learning will help them connect academic concepts to real-world experiences—while fostering empathy, initiative, and civic responsibility.

  • Can online students participate in extracurricular activities?

Yes! PACT Online Campus students are fully eligible to participate in all extracurricular programs offered by PACT Charter School. This includes drama productions, speech team, academic competitions, robotics, student leadership opportunities, and Minnesota State High School League athletics. We believe that extracurricular activities are an essential part of a well-rounded educational experience, and we are committed to ensuring online students have the same opportunities to pursue their passions and talents as their on-campus peers.

Are online students invited to in-person school events?

Absolutely! PACT Online students are welcome and encouraged to attend in-person events throughout the school year. From our Back-to-School Bash and pep rallies to student assemblies, dances, and service days, online students are an integral part of our school community. Students may choose their level of participation based on their interests and comfort level. Our goal is to foster connection and belonging—whether students attend virtually, join in person, or do a combination of both. We’ll also explore online-exclusive events and meet-ups to further build community within the PACT Online Campus.

  • Will PACT provide Chromebooks or devices?

We are currently finalizing the technology plan for the PACT Online Campus and will share detailed information before the enrollment application period. Our goal is to ensure that every student has access to the necessary tools for a successful online learning experience. This may include providing Chromebooks or compatible devices for students who need them, along with guidance on internet access and technical support. We are committed to making sure technology is not a barrier to student success and will communicate clear expectations, options, and support resources as soon as they are confirmed. Stay tuned for updates.

  • Will students have access to counselors?

Yes. Online Campus students will have full access to licensed school counselors, just like their on-campus peers. Counselors will provide support in areas such as academic planning, college and career readiness, and social-emotional wellness to ensure students thrive both personally and academically.

Will there be support for students with special needs?

Absolutely. Students with IEPs or 504 plans will receive the necessary services and accommodations to support their success. Special education teachers and support staff will be assigned to the PACT Online Campus to provide personalized support and ensure full compliance with all state and federal requirements.

  • How will PACT Online Campus partner with parents and families?

At PACT, we recognize that strong family partnerships are crucial to student success—whether learning occurs in person or online. That belief extends fully to our Online Campus, where we are committed to fostering ongoing, meaningful connections with parents and caregivers.

To support this partnership, the PACT Online Campus will offer intentional, year-round opportunities for families to stay engaged and involved. This includes special on-campus events explicitly designed for Online Campus families, strategically scheduled around school conference times. These gatherings will provide valuable opportunities for parents to connect with staff, engage with the school community, and support their child’s learning journey.

In addition, we’ll offer regular virtual parent meetings, timely communication touchpoints, and access to resources to help families feel informed, empowered, and supported. At PACT Online Campus, parents are not just observers—they are vital partners in every student’s success.

  • Are there any upcoming policy changes?

Yes. As we build the PACT Online Campus, we are actively reviewing and updating our policies to reflect the unique operations of a full-time online learning environment. This includes everything from student expectations to academic integrity and daily engagement. Graduation requirements will remain aligned with those of our in-person program to ensure all students—whether on-campus or online—receive a high-quality, standards-based education.

How will attendance work in an online model?

We are designing an automated attendance system that meets Minnesota state requirements while also honoring the flexibility of online learning. Students will check in daily through designated learning platforms and participate in live or asynchronous instruction as scheduled. More detailed procedures will be outlined in the Online Campus student handbook.

    Are there any fees?

Enrollment in the PACT Online Campus is free for all Minnesota residents as part of our public charter school offering. While the core program is tuition-free, there may be a few optional or technology-related fees, such as device insurance or participation in special events and activities. We are committed to keeping costs minimal and transparent so families can plan accordingly.
